USB short-circuit checker

First post on the blog and i want to share with you my idea which came to me a few days ago when my multimeter was out of battery and i wanted to test a new pcb for short-circuits. I found a usb cable from an old device, got a bulb and the ends  from the multimeter and did my job :)

As you can see, it's really easy. Plug in the usb and test with the bulb which are the power cables. Insulate the other two and connect the bulb on one end. Then find something to put on the other two ends that will be used for the contacts. I used the ends of the multimeter.

P.S. Next post will be a hot-air gun using the soldering iron.
